National ICE Council Announces Endorsement of Michael Cloud for Congress

National Immigration and Customs Enforcement (ICE) Council Announces Endorsement of
Michael Cloud for Congress

FOR IMMEDIATE RELEASE
FEBRUARY 10, 2022

Today, National Immigration and Customs Enforcement (ICE) Council President Chris Crane released the
following statement after the National ICE Council officially endorsed Michael Cloud for the U.S. House of
Representatives in the 27th Congressional District of Texas:

“On behalf of the men and women of the National Immigration and Customs Enforcement (ICE) Council, we
are proud to endorse Representative Michael Cloud for Congress.

Since his first day in office, Representative Michael Cloud has fought back against radical efforts to defund
the police, eradicate our southern border, and abolish ICE. While in Congress, Michael Cloud has voted to
build the border wall, end sanctuary cities, and reform our broken immigration laws. Not only has he cast
his vote in Congress to enforce our laws and defend law enforcement, but he has been on the ground and in
the field conducting rigorous and aggressive oversight of the Biden Administration’s disastrous border and
immigration policies.

Representative Michael Cloud has earned the full support of the ICE Council through his votes, words, and
actions. We are proud to endorse him for his reelection.”
