Press Release - National Immigration and Customs Enforcement Council Praises House Passage of Resolution Supporting ICE Personnel

Today, National Immigration and Customs Enforcement (ICE) Council President Chris Crane released the following statement after the U.S. House of Representatives passed by a vote of 244-35 H.Res.990, Supporting the officers and personnel who carry out the important mission of the U.S. Immigration and Customs Enforcement, sponsored by Rep. Clay Higgins (R-LA).

“On behalf of the men and women of ICE, I want to thank Congressman Higgins for having our backs and taking a stand to support ICE law enforcement officers and staff, especially at a time like this. I also want to thank Majority Leader Kevin McCarthy (R-CA), Majority Whip Steve Scalise (R-LA), Chairman Bob Goodlatte (R-VA), and both Republican and Democratic Members of the House who supported Congressman Higgins' resolution for their steadfast support of the brave men and women of ICE.
